The Armstrong Hotel

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! My family is visiting from Washington and everyone here has made us feel like we are home. I have my dog, North with me and the staff remember his name, give him treats..he's actually excited to go down into the lobby! EVERY staff member we have met has been extra kind and has blown us away. The room is beautiful, clean, comfortable! I am completely sold and would recommend to anyone coming to Fort Collins! Easy walk to anything you may need! Thank you Armstrong!

The Armstrong is a beautifully appointed boutique hotel with gorgeous rooms, a wonderful location and nice amenities. Centrally located in Old Town Fort Collins, it is within walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, shops and cocktail lounges. The corner rooms are spacious, well decorated and the room we had (202) had beautiful hardwood floors that looked original to the building. The bathroom was updated with a large shower and abundant natural light. That being said, there were a few drawbacks that deserve mentioning. Firstly, College Avenue is extremely loud and the traffic noise was pretty disturbing even on a Sunday. Granted, this is not the hotel's fault, but it should be noted that if you're a light sleeper you might want to pack your ear plugs or some noise canceling headphones. The hotel did provide a White noise machine which was a nice touch and helped, but not much. The second drawback was the bed. The bed in our room was THE most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my entire life. It was lumpy, uneven and I barely got any sleep cause it kept causing me shoulder pain. The duvet was lovely and the pillows were fluffy and full, but the mattress was just horrible! If you want a centrally located, cute and reasonably priced hotel in Fort Collins, the Armstrong is a great choice. Just be aware of the noise and the possibility of a not so great night's sleep.

Overall a very comfortable stay and great value for the price & location. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and we also enjoyed the Nespresso machine and huge walk-in shower. Great location in downtown Fort Collins with a cozy lobby. Staff is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful! We appreciated the human touch of our stay, and the 5 star service.

Amazing decor, super clean, comfy beds, perfect location, walk to anywhere on the Main Street! Although with an older building structure you can hear more than a newer build they provide guests with ear plugs and a relaxing sleep sound machine and, for me, with everything else being so top notch, I still give it 5 stars. We stayed in a king basic room with one south facing window. The larger corner rooms may provide a different sound environment- but to me the fact that they acknowledge the issue and provide guests with options to help is huge in my book. And for sure the temperature was perfect throughout the night and you can barely hear the new wall unit which is usually a huge bug for me. PS.. we never used the ear plugs, but I do love me a sleep sound machine ;)

Gorgeous hotel with clean, cozy rooms. My only complaint is that due to its location, there is so much street noise. We ended up leaving because it was too loud to sleep. Not the hotel's fault at all, Fort Collins is a college town and full of loud cars cruising College Ave. They make it impossible to sleep (unless noise doesn't bother you). Other than that, the hotel is fantastic and having Ace Gillet right there is a huge perk.
